VMA: Black-Tie Gala Dinner on Fri 17/02/23 @Melbourne Town Hall

VMA Fundraising Gala Diner

Melbourne 25th January 2023

Dear valued Sponsors, Donors, Supporters, and Members of the Community,

The Vietnamese Museum Australia would like to extend a warm invitation to our Inaugural Black-Tie Gala Dinner on Friday 17th February 2023 at 6pm at the Melbourne Town Hall, 90–130 Swanton Street Melbourne.

The Vietnamese Museum Australia (VMA) will be Australia’s first museum dedicated to preserving and telling the incredible story of Vietnamese refugee settlement in Australia. It will be a significant asset, not only to the Vietnamese community but to all Australians, celebrating the vibrant and culturally diverse nation in which we live. It will have massive historical and cultural significance, preserving the amazing story of Vietnamese Australian refugees and will be the 6th addition to the Multicultural Museums network in Victoria.

The Gala Dinner will be the VMA’s biggest and most ambitious fundraising event to date, with proceeds going towards realising the dream of many Vietnamese Australians, but particularly first-generation Vietnamese Australians to see the museum established in their life time – before these incredible stories of courage, resilience, survival on the journey to freedom, are lost to the passage of time.

As this is a significant fundraising event for the VMA, we respectfully request that you please purchase a ticket to the Gala. Tickets can be purchased online at:
