2024 Tet Festival: Young Talent Contest
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
RE: Young Talent Contest
The Executive Committee is pleased to inform you that there will be a Young Talent Contest during the 2024 Tet Festival for youth aged between 10-25 years old to showcase their talents.
The contest will be held with the following details:
- On Sunday, 18/2/2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, on the main stage of the Tet Festival, in the Footscray Park.
- Participants can exhibit talents such as playing a musical instrument, dancing, singing (original or cover songs, not karaoke), performing magic tricks, and any other unique skills that can be defined as talent.
- Time Limit: Each act will be allotted 5-7 minutes for their performance.
- Limited Enrollment: Due to time constraints, we can only enroll a total of 20 participants.
- Experienced judging panel: A panel of 3 judges will evaluate each participant’s performance, assigning a total score out of 10 points each (30 points in total).
- Prizes: The top two contestants with the highest total scores will be awarded the first, second and third prizes, respectively.

This online registration process will help streamline participant selection and event planning. On-site enrollment will be available on the day of the event only if there is a shortage of online registrations.
