Hung Vuong Commemoration, Fall of South Vietnam Memorial, Canberra’s Rally
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Melbourne, March 17, 2023
This year’s Hung Vuong Commemoration on the 10th day of the third lunar month coincides with Saturday, April 29, 2023, which has been chosen as a day to have the fall of South Vietnam’s Memorial. In addition, the VCA-VIC will join a rally in Canberra on Sunday, April 30, 2023 with other members of the Vietnamese Communities in Australia.
In order to be able to organise all the above events on the same day, the Executive Committee has arranged the following activities at the Community Centre, 90 Knight Ave, Sunshine North:
1/. Hung Vuong Commemoration
Time: 10am – 3pm
2/. Memorial of the Fall of South Vietnam
Time: 8pm – 10.30pm
3/. Canberra’s Rally
After the Memorial ceremony, everyone will have some snacks and then depart by bus for Canberra.
The Executive Committee will provide separate Announcements with specific details for each event in the coming days.
