VMA Announcement: Community Meeting re-scheduled

Dear VMA Supporters, Community Leaders, Donors,
You would have received an announcement from the VMA about an upcoming public meeting scheduled for Sunday 26th November 2023.
The VMA intended to provide donors, supporters and members of the public on the significant work that has been taking place in the journey of establishing the first Vietnamese Museum in Australia at this meeting. Some of the progress underway includes content collection and the activities behind this portfolio, engagement activities with stakeholders and the Vietnamese community, and the ongoing dialogue with the executives of the VCA Chapters and Territories. We were also hoping to provide an update on the decision behind the withdrawal of the VMA from the site in Footscray, and other options currently under consideration.
However, due to pending discussions with key partners and some delays in some of these portfolios, we have postponed the meeting and hope you can join us on Saturday 16th December 2023 instead, for us to have the opportunity to share with you the progress of the work.
We also invite you to join us after the meeting for some light refreshments to celebrate the end of year and get to know our volunteer team.
