Responsibilities of the Executive Committee members.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, the Executive Committee received an email from Mr. Pho Quoc Van, General Secretary, saying that he will go overseas soon and he will be absent until mid-June 2023.
To reassign responsibilities during Mr. Pho Quoc Van’s absence, the Executive Committee held a meeting on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Vietnamese Community Office and we agreed that:
- Mr. Nathan Nguyen will disseminate the Public Announcements and take minutes for future meetings; and
- Mr. Tran Dong will post the Public Announcements on social networking sites and will be in charge of social networks such as Facebook, web site, videos, images,
The Executive Committee agreed to adjust individual responsibilities from April 23, 2023 as follows:
- Mr. Nguyen Quang Duy will be responsible for organising meetings;
- Mr. Nguyen Quang Duy will sign the Public Announcements on behalf of the Executive Committee; and
- Mr. Nguyen Quang Duy will be the official spokesman. He will assign other members to answer public questions in the areas and responsibilities of the members of the Executive Committee and of the Sub-Committees.
Also we would like to take this opportunity to inform you that our Executive Committee has always operated in accordance with the Constitution. All decisions of the Executive Committee are in a democratic manner, and in the case of equal number of votes, the chair person shall have the casting vote.
Therefore, all opinions or actions of any Executive Committee member, without the consent of the Executive Committee, are only individual opinions or personal actions. Only joint democratic decisions of the Executive Committee and official communications in the form of Public Announcements or spokespersons are valid.
