Public Announcement: The Women’s Subcommittee
The Executive Committee is pleased to inform you of an important and positive milestone in transforming the committee structure. As an outcome of the meeting between the Executive Committee, the Advisory & Monitoring Council and many female community members at the Footscray office on 22 December 2022, the new Women’s Subcommittee was formed to replace the former VCA-VIC Women’s Association.
The following were nominated and elected by other female community members:
- Head: Nga Nguyen (0431 323 071)
- First Assistant Head: Thu Nguyen (0421 601 488)
- Second Assistant Head: Huong Vo (0490 191 288)
Following the election, the attendees eagerly discussed plans to engage other females in the community and to support the 2023 Tet Festival, upcoming community events, such as the Trưng Sisters Commemoration on 25/02/2022, and other social and educational activities, etc. in the future.
