NOTICE: Celia Tran’s resignation

The Executive Committee of the VCA-VIC would like to inform:

• Religious leaders,
• ARVN Veterans Association,
• Leaders of associations and groups,
• Representative of the media,
• and all of our fellow Australian Vietnamese.

We have received a resignation letter from Ms. Celia Tran, Vice President of External Affairs of the VCA VIC.

Due to her current role within the Victorian Multicultural Commission, there are many decisions that Celia will be involved in that require her to play a neutral and unbiased role within the state government towards Victoria’s multicultural community.

Therefore, to avoid any conflicts of interests, Ms. Celia Tran has had no choice but to resign from her position despite her earnest desire to continue to contribute to our community.

We take this opportunity to send her our deep gratitude from the VCA-VIC. She has played an integral role in all that we have done and her contribution has been immense.

We wish her the absolute best in her role as well as her ongoing success.
