Invitation to the Vietnamese Museum Australia Refugee Week Commemoration Service
Further to our May edition newsletter, Vietnamese Museum Australia (VMA) warmly invites you to join us in commemorating Refugee Week at our special service.
Date: Sunday, 23rd June 2024
Location: Refugees Memorial, Jensen Reserve Meyers Road, Maribyrnong
Time: 11am – 2pm
This year’s theme is “Finding Freedom”. It highlights the journeys of our community and the importance of family in finding freedom and building new lives. We are especially delighted to have the support of our second-generation volunteers who have worked tirelessly to coordinate this meaningful event. Their dedication represents the continuation of our community’s story and the enduring strength of family ties. Your attendance would not only honour the VMA but also show your support and encouragement for the next generation of our community.
We will also have a special guest, Mr Nam Lộc – a Vietnamese American musician and a renowned Social Advocate joining us at this event.
