International Refugee Week, Discussing the Project of 50 years of settlement and the Project to build a Cultural Centre.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Executive Committee would like to invite you to attend the International Refugee Week which will start at 10 am on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Vietnamese People Monument, JENSEN RESERVED PARK -Farnsworth Ave, Footscray. After this Commemoration Ceremony, we would like to invite you to share a BBQ with us right there.
After that Ceremony from 2 to 4 pm we invite you to participate in the discussion about the Projects short-term and long-term to celebrate the 50th anniversary of settlement at the Community Center.
About the long-term project to build the Cultural Centre, with the image of a communal house (ngôi đình), a place for us to meet and to run community activities, and a place to preserve the heritage of the first Vietnamese people to settle in Australia. Two architects Le Minh and Huynh Nam will be there to listen to new ideas to redraw the map of this Centre on 4 plots of land No. 86-92 Knight Ave North Sunshine, so that we will soon submit it to the government for the purposes of applying grants.
