The Board of Directors of the Vietnamese Museum Australia Ltd (VMA) welcomes the announcement that the VCA Vic will not persist with a nomination of a public opponent of the Vietnamese Museum Australia project to the Board of Directors of the VMA.
The VMA looks forward to working to strengthening the partnership with all Vietnamese community organisations who support the key principles set out in clause 6 of the Constitution, particularly the new Vietnamese Community in Australia Federal body and the Vietnamese Community in Australia chapters of other Australian states and regions.
The VMA Board is committed to the project of building the museum in partnership with the Vietnamese Australian community. Considering this, the VMA Board invites the VCA-Vic to meet to discuss the appointment of an appropriate director who supports the mission and charitable purpose of the VMA, so that we can collaboratively achieve this project for the benefit of the entire Vietnamese Australian community.
The Vietnamese Museum Australia is a visionary project for the Vietnamese Australian community and the Australian community at large, and the VMA’s vision is that the positive liaison with all its members will make its governance structure even stronger.
