Police search for missing man name Hao

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Hao.

The 42-year-old was last seen at Flinders Street Railway Station about 10.30am this morning Friday 1/3.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare —due to him having non-verbal autism, being audio sensitive and his disappearance being out of character.

He does not have access to a phone or money and is likely unable to find his way home or ask for assistance.

Hao is described as being approximately 170cms tall, with a slim build, and of Asian appearance.

He is known to frequent the Queen Victoria Market and the Footscray area.

He was last seen wearing beige shorts, green t-shirt, blue baseball cap, runners, and a face mask.

Police have released an image of Hao in the hope that someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Anyone who sights Hao is urged to contact Melbourne East Police Station on 9637 1100 or 000.
