Man charged over building fire on Devonshire Rd, Sunshine
Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man over a suspicious building fire which occurred in Sunshine in 2023.
Emergency services were called to a fire at a commercial premises on Devonshire Road about 4am on Saturday 25 February.
The fire quickly spread and a number of business were damaged.
On Saturday 20 January a 29-year-old man from Gatton, Queensland was arrested by police.
He has been charged with criminal damage by fire, burglary and reckless conduct endangering life and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 15 April.
