KFC launches its new Zinger Bánh Mì nationwide for a limited time

The Zinger Bánh Mì is currently available until 1 December, starting at $9.95.

The Zinger Bánh Mì will be sold nationwide from 4 November until 1 December, starting at $9.95.

KFC Australia has added a new item to its menu, the Zinger Bánh Mì —which is now available across the country for the first time.

The sandwich combines the chain’s spicy Zinger chicken fillet with slaw, fresh chillies, coriander, a new Bánh Mì-style mayonnaise, and Supercharged sauce, all served in a traditional Bánh Mì roll.

A few months ago —there were sightings of a Zinger Bánh Mì being sold at KFC restaurants in Newcastle.

Turns out they were trialling the KFC-Vietnamese crossover, and now Zinger Bánh Mì has launched for everyone to enjoy nationwide.

Sally Spriggs, Group Marketing Director, commented: “At KFC, we love putting our own spin on modern foods, and the Zinger Bánh Mì is our take on a much-loved icon. It’s the perfect balance of spice, freshness and texture, a truly finger lickin’ good combination that celebrates flavour innovation while giving our fans another way to enjoy our famous Zinger”.

The Zinger Bánh Mì will be sold at participating KFC outlets nationwide from 4 November until 1 December, starting at $9.95.

Customers can buy it on its own, as part of a combo with chips and a drink, or in a box meal that includes a Zinger Bánh Mì, two pieces of hot & crispy boneless chicken, potato and gravy, chips, and a can of drink.
