The Vietnamese Community in Australia – Victoria Chapter (VCA-Vic) would like to invite you and your partner to attend the Australia Day Celebration – Thank You Australia. Details:
Time: 10am – 2am Sunday 26/1/2025
Venue: The Vietnamese Community Centre, 90 Knight Ave, North Sunshine 3020
This event will start a significant milestone in celebrating “50 Years Vietnamese Refugee Resettlement – 50 Years Freedom” 1975-2025. This gathering will bring together community members to honour our shared journey since the arrival of the first Vietnamese refugees in Australia.
The event will feature a poignant flag-raising ceremony at 10am, showcasing both the Australian and Republic of Vietnam flags, symbolizing unity and gratitude.
This event will reflect on past struggles and triumphs, and foster a sense of belonging and appreciation for the opportunities that Australia has provided over the past five decades.
