16/3: VMA Groundbreaking Ceremony Invitation
On behalf of the Vietnamese Museum Australia (VMA), I am pleased to invite you to attend the official Groundbreaking Ceremony of Australia’s first Vietnamese Museum on Sunday 16th March 2025, at 11:30 AM, on site of the VMA, 119 Durham Road, Sunshine.
This event marks an important milestone for the Vietnamese Australian community and the broader Victorian community. The establishment of this museum has been a long-held aspiration, and with strong community support and bipartisan government backing, we are now taking the next step in bringing it to life.
This year is particularly significant as it marks the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese settlement in Australia, a milestone that recognises the resilience, contributions, and lasting impact of the Vietnamese Australian community. Your presence at this event would be greatly valued as a recognition of this shared history and the importance of preserving it for future generations.
